Public meeting called over Rumney Rec Inquiry

Campaigners who want to save the Rumney Recreation Ground from being built on by Cardiff Council are holding a public meeting on Tuesday 14th September.

From 7.30 PM at the British Legion in Llanrumney the meeting will hear from members of the RREEL Action Group about the public inquiry which is due to start next week.

The Inquiry will start on Tuesday 21st September and run until Thursday 23rd September. It will be held at Llanrumney Library and will be led by Inspector Leslie Blohm QC.

    I am against the rec being built on.But why did two Llanrumney labour councillors vote to approve an incinerator being built in Sploitt.?Is it ok to build an incinerator ,with its traffic and pollution problems in Splott ,but not OK to build a school.
