A picture of a distinctive diamond ring has been released by police investigating a burglary.
Officers want anyone who has been offered the ring for sale or who has received it as a present to contact them.
The 18 carat gold diamond ring was stolen from a house in Minny Street, Cathays, last month, along with a black Samsung lap-top computer and plastic child’s money box. There was no forced entry.
Detective Constable Mandy Peck, from Cathays CID, said: “The ring is quite distinctive so may jog people’s memory if they have been offered to buy it.
“I would ask anyone who knows who is in possession of these items or has any other information in relation to this burglary to contact Cathays CID on 029 2052 7267 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
