Residents of Denton Road in Cardiff joined in with a nationwide campaign to get neighbours out and having lunch together.
The Big Lunch took place across the UK and dozens of street parties took place across Cardiff, including in Canton, Grangetown and Roath.
Denton Road held its third annual Big Lunch and organiser Sophie Fegan said it was a good excuse for some community spirit.
She said: “I’d say that the street parties we’ve held for The Big Lunch have reignited some well-needed community spirit. Neighbours stop to talk to one another on the street and everyone feels safer and more involved with their neighbourhood. New friendships have formed and the street is now a community that I have the pleasure to be a part of.”
