UPDATE 4.10pm: Tonight’s meeting at The Gate has been postponed. The meeting on Wednesday September 12 will go ahead.
A public meeting for anyone who wants to get involved in this year’s Made in Roath festival will be held tonight at 7pm.
The arts festival, now in its fourth year, will run from October 12-21, showcasing work from artists, writers, performers and musicians in venues right across Roath.
The programme for this year’s festival is expected to be finalised by the middle of this month, but the organisers are still keen to hear from anyone who wants to get involved.
They have arranged two open meetings for those would like to volunteer or contribute, whether it be through opening up their house, studio, garden, shed or shop during the festival, or just by taking a few posters to put in your window.
One of the meetings will be held tonight, from 7pm-8.30pm at The Gate Arts Centre on Keppoch Street. If this is too short notice, there will be a second meeting on Wednesday September 12 from 6pm-7.30pm.
If you can’t make either meeting, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. More details on the festival can be found on the Made In Roath website.
