Britain’s Got Talent open auditions are to be held at the Swalec Stadium this weekend, with thousands expected to attend the Cardiff venue.

The talent show production team will be scouting across the UK ahead of the judges’ audition tour which is scheduled to take place in early 2013. Performers of any age can audition.

The programme’s executive producer, Sam Donnelly, said: “Britain’s Got Talent is a show like no other and after a fantastic series in 2012, we want to make sure that our next series is packed to the rafters with the very best variety talent around too.”

This will be the seventh series of Britain’s Got Talent and will feature the same judging panel as last year. Simon Cowell will again be joined by singer Alesha Dixon, comedian and author David Walliams and actress Amanda Holden, whilst Ant and Dec are also returning to present the show.

The online database for auditions in Cardiff is now closed. However, you can still audition for the show in Cardiff. To do so, arrive for the audition sessions at 9am, 1pm or 4pm on Saturday, November 10, or Sunday, November 11.
