A Cardiff-based charity for children with cerebral palsy is appealing for people to donate “desperately needed” clothes to its shops in Llanishen and Cathays.

Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales, which is based in Whitchurch, is appealing to people to “donate not dump” unwanted clothes and household items – especially winter clothes – to its shops at 3 Ty Glas Road, Llanishen, and 115 Crwys Road, Cathays.

Angela Parson, Bobath’s senior shops manager, said: “We have plenty of parking at the shop in Llanishen so it is very easy for people to donate and we also claim Retail Gift Aid, which means the taxman will give us 0.25 pence for every £1 your donation is sold for.”

Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre provides specialist therapy to children with cerebral palsy. You can see more about their work here.

If you have any queries about donations, you can contact the Llanishen shop on 029 2076214, the Crwys Road Shop on 029 20371426, or visit the Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre website.
