The Taste Christmas Fayre at Wales Millennium Centre will include free wreath making workshops.

Wales Millennium Centre will launch its second Taste Christmas Fayre this weekend, featuring craft makers and producers from around Wales.

After last year’s successful event, WMC will host this year’s Taste Christmas Fayre on the weekend of December 8 and 9, and the weekend of December 15 and 16, with stalls in the centre’s foyer and Glanfa stage area.

Food and craft stalls on offer will include hand-crafted and bespoke jewellery, Welsh cheeses, children’s toys, clothes and books, and gourmet chocolates.

The fayre is free to enter, and also includes Christmas crafts workshops such as Christmas stocking and wreath making. On the weekend of December 15 and 16, storyteller Cat Weatherill will also be holding festive story telling sessions in the centre’s yurt, and a full programme of choirs and seasonal music will be performed on the Glanfa stage across both weekends.

In the Ffresh restaurant, families can also have afternoon tea with Father Christmas, with Santa handing out the gifts while tea is served. Tickets for this cost £10 for adults and £8 for children under 12. To book tickets call 029 2063 6464 or visit the WMC’s website.
