Police have released images of this man, who they want to speak to in connected with an assault at The Crockerton Bar on Greyfriars Road.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with an assault that happened at a bar on Greyfriars Road last month.

A 23-year-old man from Sully was assaulted inside The Crockerton Bar at around 12.50am on Sunday January 20, when he was punched in the face causing an injury that needed hospital treatment.

The man’s assailant is described as a white male, around six feet three or four inches tall, of a lean and muscular build, with pale short hair and pale skin.

Officers say he had a very defined face with a pronounced jaw line, and was wearing a white top with a V neck, with long sleeves and dark denim trousers.

Investigating officer, Police Constable Sam Darlington ,said: “This was a serious and unprovoked attack and we would like to speak to this person.

“We are appealing for anyone who may recognise this person or for the person himself to contact us to assist us in our investigations.”
